MBM Office - Taller de arquitectura

We are required for an extension on the roof of a house fitted out as offices in a residential neighborhood in Zapopan, Jalisco. The challenge of the project, regardless of the reduced program, is the inability to use the existing structure of the house to the new building.

It was decided to use a metal frame with four points of support to the ground, flying over the existing construction, with footings of the new support structure.

On this platform is built with prefabricated materials the architectural program: A glass pavilion with a terrace and surrounding garden that contains the executive offices of the company.

It is generated a false mezzanine where they are the existing facilities which serve the new construction, serving as a general duct of facilities.
